Default Ordered some more stuff for the Z

Had the car for less than a week and I'm already spending more money on it than I have for my Toyota.

Ordered from Corvette's of Dallas:

Blackwing
Coupler
Column lock bypass

To me, the stock airbox/bridge suck and just had to go.

CLB so I don't get stranded.

Going to call around and search for a front plate filler.

Should have new rear brakes tomorrow and my Amsoil fluids on Thursday.

Going to check out Auto Zone to see if they have speed bleeders in stock.

We have a 3 day weekend and it looks like Friday is going to be a busy day!

Hi Edmond -

Yep - bad case of mod fever starting up there.

Incidentally, I was born in Ft. Sill.

It would be cool to see some pics of your car there as I have not been back there for a long time.

best regards-

I'm from the south 'burbs of Chicago!

Small world.

Closest I've been to Peoria is Eureka.

Welcome to the club...

One suggestion; since you're going with a blackwing, you might want to consider the "ram air tunnel port" that will allow cold air to blow directly through the front bumper and on to that blackwing.

Haltech sells these...it trims out the license plate opening with the same steel mesh as the other bumper openings on your Z.

Hi Edmond -

That's pretty close!

Nothing wrong with the Tunnel port, but you know, the front fascia openings allow plenty of fresh outside air right to the area above the fan shroud. (ZO6)

I prefer the look of the filler plate, personally.

Called Vette2Vette and they want about $60 for one but it'll have to be painted.

I'd prefer to not have to paint it, trying to find one that already is.
