Z16 COMMEMORATIVE Stripes
I've been thinking about adding CE stripes to my 03 Z to make it a little more unique. I really like the way they look, but I'm afraid to spend the money to have them installed and not like them. What do you guys think.
Here's a pic of my car
And here's the color combination I'm considering

IMO they look good with the stock hood only.

I think the stripes are an enhancement.

I really like how JETZ has them on his mcm hood. Where the stripes go around the carbon center.
Kinda of the direction I'm leaning towards.

I think it would look killer, but I would lean towards the silver/red combo

I knew you were gonna ask me that!!
For now, I did fender stripes because they were easier. They look sweet. I'm just getting my "feet wet" first before I take the plunge.
But I saw a Z16 in the area with the stripe kit and when he turned the corner in Rockaway boro... I was like...
WOWWWW.

Hmmm.. interesting.. but silver/red wouldn't match his theme. Would still look good though.

Thanks for the replies everyone, keep them coming
Still have mixed feelings about it. One day I want to do it, and the next day I'll change my mind.

The neat thing with vinyl stripes, you can have them removed if you don't like them. I just had Z16 stripes in black and red installed on my light pewter vet. I really like the stripes even though some won't.

Go for it. The stripes should look great on your car. And the beauty of vinyl stripes is if you eventually do get tired of them, you can take them off without repainting the hood.

Vette Stripes
Johnson 92,
Did you get a chance to see the variety on
www.vettestripes.com ??
Here is the link.

I too put CE Stripes on my Pewter C5. Mike at Vette Stripes has a ton of colors to choose from and will do custom work.
Good Luck,
