heck yeah I would. Get it home and peel that vinyl stripe off (assuming it's a vinyl stripe, as it most stripes nowadays).
How could you not want a yellow vett? Come might think it's somewhat cliche' for a sports car to come in a bright yellow...but I think it fits the Vette beautifully!
I'd be all over it. Kinda wish I had looked longer and got a Z or at least a 6 speed
yeah, I'm with you on this one brother. I love my torch red coupe, but damn if I don't sometimes wish I had a z06 to get out there and slam through some gears
Yah it does. I thought that was it for a second...
Its not that I dislike yellow, just not sure how I feel about it.
So you can peel those things off, seriously?
VERY few stipes i've seen were painted on and/or were under the clearcoat. Usually factory stripes or custom paint jobs are the only ones that are not removable (AKA under the CC). Even some factory stripes are vinyl (cough cough GT500).
If you can physically feel where the stripe starts on the paint, it CAN be peeled off. Just try to get a fingernail under a corner and if it does easily it's a sure thing.
WARNING - do be aware that if they've had it on there for years and years and it's gotten a great deal of sun (paint fade), you may very well have some discoloration between the exposed paint and that which was under the stripe.
I'd know...i did this with a Ford Probe when I was young, and it looked hideous after i took the stripe off after 4 years.
When I had a stripe on my yellow z06, it got more comments on it. People loved it. I took it off because I was worried abount paint fading. There was none after 1 1/2 years.
