This picture shows the bra at about 80 mph. Cameraman caught me taking a student through the bus stop at Watkins Glen in 2003.
The license plate area is indented since I had the GM license bracket installed and the bumper was indented in that area.
I used this bra on the track for 6.5 seasons. It survived speeds up to 150 mph with no problems. Other bras I tried earlier on my 97 couldn't take it and tore in much less time. When I sold my Z in September the bra went with it and was still in good condition.
Found this picture from last year going through the esses at the Glen. Speed going through turn 3 was between 110 and 115.

I dont have any pics posted , but I currently own a ZO6 bra that has the ZO6 logo on the front. The only place that sells it as far as I know is Ecklers Corvette. Its the second one Ive owned since the first one I had I accidentally scraped against a high parking stop. Saved my bumper un the process. I think that bra is $100. I havent seen anyone else with it so far. Just something to consider.
I found a GM bra for a Z for sale locally. I'm looking for pics of Z's with the bra installed...anybody have any pics they can post?
TIA,
Mike
Buy it.... Ivde got one.. been on numerous road trips..never had a problem with it..
Althought I did learn to wipe the front down with a jsilicone grease to make bug clean up easier.. nothing worse that traveling allday killing bugs then having uto scrape fried baked on bugs off the bra...
Ive got a friend that used PAM on his.. works well too
From my last trip..bra stayed on nearly two weeks (only took it off to wash teh car..)
