Default LS9 in a C5

Has anyone completed an installation of an LS9 in their C5? Is anyone seriously thinking about doing this?

Will it even fit? I think it looks wide with its supercharged-ness. That would be crazy!

The costs are probably to high compared to just supercharging or turbocharging the LS1 or LS6 engine...Indy

should be just as easy as swapping in any other LS motor, might need a new hood to clear the blower

Someone with more money than brains will do it. I just can't see putting an in engine that costs more than the car it's going in.

Lets see...Over $20,000 for a LS9 OR redo the bottom end and put a SC on for around $10,000 or so and put more power to the wheels than the LS9 would. Just my thoughts

I did it yesterday. It was easy. I just tightened everything with my hands, and then I peeled out and did donuts in the cul-de-sac all afternoon.

Then I woke up.
