Long long ago in a galaxy far far away - 142 and a week later 148. The judge gave me 10 days to sell the car and dismissed the tickets. It IS who you know.
I got busted doing 171 through a school zone with children present. The kids were excited to hear the roar of the engine. The cop stopped me and let me off with a warning after asking for my phone number.

well i mean this thread isn't QUITE promoting speeding and street racing. its just kinda letting ppl tell their stories. So technically....
That being said I've only ever got a ticket in my 89 Camaro. And there were ppl passing me!!! It was just a very loud car
In 1964 in a 1964 Corvair Monza 76 in a 25 zone at 1 am in my neighborhood going home. I was 20 dumb stupid and not paying attention so I didn't see the motorcycle cop.
$984 (called it dangerous driving in the 2nd degree - for passing a Fish and Wildlife officer in Washington State 4 years ago, he never knew my speed as he had no radar ( i was actually just pulling out to pass him after following for 5 miles so i was doing about 70/75 in a 55 with long tubes and prt's i think i scared him) - bogus ticket and i will never go back to Washington State to bad for them cause they lost thousands and thousands in tourism dollars.
no lock yet

mods don't see it that way. Their reasoning is quite different than everyone elses. Apparently telling a story is somehow promoting it, even if you disagree with your own story LMAO.
Nothing impressive,,was doing 85-90 on my bike on my way home just before I retired,,,but he only wrote me for 75 in a 55!!I don't think he really had a lock on me,,but I wasn't going to argue as I was hauling a$$ and doing the traffic slalom,,,could have been hauled in and bike impounded.Took $75 ticket and court supervision for 6 months(no record if you make the 6 months)! Kinda dumb,,but didn't have a lot of patients for slow pokes,,just didn't notice a trooper in a Suburban, and blew past him !!

Been pulled over plenty of times in my T/A and the Z, but have never gotten a ticket...they always let me off. I guess they're surprised that I actually have manners, and I guess it helps that alot of the cops around here are american muscle guys
