I get this a couple times a week when I leave for work in the cool/cold mornings. I let my car warm up in the driveway for several minutes first before I start driving. It goes away after driving for 15-20 seconds or so.
It also does a re-calculation when the wheel speeds change relative to each other, re-learning when you switch wheels/tires that may be of a different diameter. I get it all the time when I switch out my race wheels as I have three sets of wheels, each with different diameters of tires on them (but I turn it off anyway, I can't race with any of it on).
Just drive carefully until it completes it's recalculations and you should be fine, if you rush it, you will find it cutting the throttle and applying brakes because it's getting confused.
Are you sure? I've received the "AH warming up" message during race events once or twice and the brakes were definitely not cold. lol
Second autox I took my car to it was pretty hot out. Sat in line for about 10 min with the AC on, made my run, and as I was headed back to my paddock spot I stopped to cross in to the other lot and ding ding ding active handling warm up pops up on the display. I thought WTF did I mess up something!? It's happened a few other times at awkward times too.

I've seen that in the evening twice within 25 ft of my parking space. It was not cold at all. Never in the morning. I too was like WTF.

Happened to me at the last AutoX. I just raced anyway and couldnt tell it made any difference.
Its the computer talking to the sensors and uploading the response to a downloaded convergence. The convergence then transcribes into a digital format for analysis to the ECBM via the MAF and the BSM.
Just reboot the flyout response to the MAF and redownload via internet inherface interface.
