Default ZO6 wheels(opinion)

I did a little research and found out that I have 9593803 & 9593805. Which happen to be Alcoa ZO6 wheels. Yes they are factory ZO6 wheels with the GM stamp and the above part #. They are mint, and when I say mint I mean not the tiniest spot on them. They are the polished ones. I'm considering selling them, and getting the 09 spyders. Of course in black 18's and 19's. The question lies in should I just powder coat the Alcoa's black or sell them to get the spyders? How much is a set of 4 mint Alcoa's going for with Potenza S-OA 265/40R17 and 295/30R18 going for? Keep the 17's and 18's or go with 18's and 19's and then but rubber for the spyders? If I went with the spyders and bought rubber would I be out a lot of money after selling the Alcoa's with the potenza's, the potenza's have about 5k on them.

Thanks for the info, sorry for being so long winded!!

If they are true GM wheels and are polished I would consider buying them.

I have chromed ones, but would love to get a set of raw polished...

Let me know if you do sell, and have a reasonable price in mind.

With that being said.... I don't like ANY of the C6 wheels on a C5. They look wrong. Also, I dislike black wheels on anything except a police car.

I guess someone polished them? Alcoas were 01 only and came in grey. I have a set. I paid $500 for them. They are mint.

Either way even if yours are alcoas that have been polished up i would say they would be worth close to $1000 maybe more. 04 polished speedlines are worth a pretty good amount and very hard to come by.

After I installed a set of IForged 19/18 on my '01 I just stored my original Alcoa 18/17 set. The very low prices to be had for an original set of GM rims convinced me just to hang on to them.

Default nice options..........

The Alcoas also came on early 2002 Z06es till the supply was dimenished.

I've never seen polished OEM Alcoa wheels.

Forum asking prices varied from $600 ( just wheels) to $1,100 with decent tires in 2009.

I am aslo swapping out wheels and tires to the 18/19 combo shortly but I will keep my OEM Alcoa wheels ' cause I want to be able to put the car back to OEM .

Yeah, I think its weird that the wheels check out as 02 ZO6 according to the part #'s on the back. But this is a 20k mile 04 ZO6. You would think it would have the original rims on it. Why would someone take off the speedlines for Alcoa's? Unless the part #'s for the years are not correct.

Any input??

So, they are the real deal GM Alcoa's(polished). Not to beat a dead horse, but I would feel guilty powdercoating these wheels black. And I want to go to black wheels so I was wanting feed back on if its possible to sell the Alcoa's with the Potenza's for enough to get in to spyders($899). I've all ready got the tires.

Thanks for the feed back
