okay, i started having problems with my ac not getting cold, i replaced the purge valve on the high side because it was leaking, so i re-charged it, and the pressure when the car is off is about 70 psi, which is high, when the car is running and ac is on it is about 35psi, but doesnt get cold, and the heat stays on on the passengers side, this happened after i disconnected the battery, what is going on !!!!

35lbs seems low to me when the car is running. If I remember right the pressure should be somewhere between 35-55 when the car is running. I wouldn't pay much attention to the pressure when the motor is not running.
Does the Driver's side feel more cold than the passengers? If you've never recharged the AC before make sure you use 134a+. Start the car, make sure the AC is running on full blast. Make sure you fasten the AC hose from the can onto the piping. I would just go by the feel of the AC when doing this. Keep charging the lines until the AC vents feel cold enough to your liking. Once done, check for any leakage.
