Default Track tires

What is a good track tire (lapping day) that can be driven on the road also? Need them to fit a 2003 Z06.

I have run everything available, I have standardized on the Michelin PS2's.. I have used them on the road on my C5 Z06, my C6 Z06, and my Cadillac CTS-V. Both the V and the C5 Z06 see a lot of tract time and I am impressed as to how well they perform. I was the only vehicle in the advanced group with anything other than slicks at VIR last week and held my own all day long! My two cents worth, I am sure that someone has an opinion on another tire but I have been soo pleased with these that I stopped looking!

My Best,

Rob

ask the folks on the autocrossing and roadracing section of the forum, they can help you out.

Alot of folks are using the NT05 with good results...not sure if they come in your requested size. You can check the NITTO webpage.

The Michelins are obviously very good tires, but they are kind of high-dollar-fun, right ??

If I end up with only one set of wheels for next race season, I will be going with Nitto NT-05's. If I end up with a spare set of wheels that I can dedicate for track duty, they will see Nitto NT-01R's.
