very nicely done! I never thought of painting the walls half black- I was going to go all white in mine for reflectivity but that probably keeps the dirt from showing and looks sharp! Thanks for the recommendation on the tiles-
I can't see what you have done with the lighting but it does look bright in there!
What do you do with the porsche? 90-94 turbo? My dad went german for a while and now is back to vettes.

Actually lighting is my next project. believe it or not there are only 3 100watt bulbs on the ceiling. The tiles are high gloss, so they reflect light very much. The wall paint is actually "anti slip" paint that you are suspose to put on stairs. It is textured, so it looks cool!
As for the Porsche, it is a 1985. It is modded and puts out almost 400RWHP. and it is only 2700 LBS. Wild ride that really turns heads. It actually shoots fire out the exhaust at high RPM's. (got to love that!!!)
I don't beat on it like I do the Vette...
I will try to get a picture of them stacked on the lift in a day or two.

Last two pictures of the year. Someone wanted to see them stacked. Well they are stacked and the ZO6 is once again in hybernation for the winter in its bubble...
Nice job, REALLY nice job!! I put my lift in this summer. Racedeck on schedule for next year (God willing). Almost makes you want to leave the doors open all of the time. Well almost...
wow that looks great. How would the floor work if you pulled in with a wet car? Would the water collect beneath the tiles or do they interlock water tight? What if you had a drain in your garage? Can you use a squeegee on that material effectively?

The tiles are tight, but not water tight.
I do have a drain in the floor and I "cut the interlocking tabs" off one tile to remove it if I want to squeegee water
directly into the drain. For the most part, if I have a water drip off of my daily driver, once the water dries up, any dirt can just wipes right off the tiles. I bought a swifer (sp) wet jet for 20 bucks that works great.
J-Rod - the cabnits are from sears. They are the craftsman series. Normally they are $150 but once in a while they have a sale for $75. Thats when I snagged the, all. Next time they go on sale I am going to get a few more for the far wall...
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
