Rear Calipers Sticking??
Can anyone help? I have an '04 Z06 which is new to me and I am wondering the best way to tell if the rear calipers are sticking. Is this a common problem? I have been driving the car recently and noticed that there is EXCESSIVE brake dust on the front wheels (and I mean covered after 30miles) and the rear rotors were barely warm to the touch after a drive. I also recently heard some noice from the rear during braking, but didn't feel anything funny in the pedal or car. What is going on? The car has 12,000 miles and the brake fluid was flushed in April of this year (previous owner). I have only had the car for 3 weeks and have barely driven it.

Wash the front wheels and be happy.

nothing you've said would lead me to believe you have a brake malfunction.. you said the car brakes well and doesn't pull/shimmy? Heavy dusting in the front is pretty normal depending on pad choice, even the stock Z pads dust up pretty good. If you're worried take it to a trusted shop and have them take a look, but it sounds pretty hard.
