Nice, but is there any way to get them without the fake rivets or whatever those dots are supposed to be that are painted on there?

The fake bolt screening makes them look...less than appealing IMHO.

Do these have any negative impact on brake performance? Brakes need to stay cool to function optimally and these covers look like they would serve to hold heat in and diminish the brakes ability to shed heat.

Have any tests been done?

If you go to the manufacturer's website, it seems that they actually help to cool the calipers because of the heat sink effect. He has some videos that demonstrate this. I don't recall what the website is though.

These have been tested and actually help cool as stated below.

I like the rears but hate the fronts,are the rears available seperately?
