Well I have an oscillating vibration at about 60 to 70mph. But here's the weird part, it is NOT steady, but rather comes and goes in about 3 second intervals.
I have had the wheels and tires checked, road-forced balanced, checked for run-out, indexed and all that at WheelWorkz......no detectable problems. Even the local Gateway Tire is stumped. Suggestions?
I had the same problem, could feel it on the floor, sotp and also in the steering wheel. It was a tire issue, Id get them checked again, maybe at a diff place?
Try removing the wheels, cleaning up the interface between them and the hub and ensure the studs are cleaned, remount and torque them properly.
Sounds crazy, but it is an inexpensive step to isolate. A short while ago I had a nagging tick noise in tight turns, everyone thought it was the wheel bearings. It was not, an excellent Corvette mechanic isolated it right away. Do as I described above and of course he did my other three as well. Noise has been gone ever since. (And believe this one, a Chevy dealer did a no-charge gratis service!)
Exactly what I had, smooth, vibe, smooth ,vibe at the same speeds ~110km/h +/- 10km/h so when I sped up it went away and slowed down went away.....I got new tires(needed new tires anyways) and balanced them myself and all is good.
Id get them checked again elsewhere, if all else fails...maybe their equipment was off a little bit or something.....
Well after buying new tires all around($800). I thought i had fixed the problem but...... that wasent the problem Where do u hear the vibration? My vette will vibrate but it sounded like it was coming from the rear...i lifted my vette when i had the tires in the air ill place my had on the tire and shake to see if their was anything lose .The only things I saw lose was the rear tie Rod was out... ( your local autoparts might not have the "Rear Tie rod" they only have the front ones if they say they do trust me its not the same as the front its smaller. So i had to go to the dealer item cost $ 120)after i put the new tie rod i tired to move the rear tire side to side but it was stiff. so i got her down and went for a test drive an guess what the same noise i went back home pist.. lifted the car and well im not great mechanic luckly my father was their with me he knows more about mechanic then me (my last solution)lol. He inspected everthing and at the end found out that it was passenger rear side Wheel Hub. Autozone has it but they cost $180 i got it cheaper at ebay (New) with warranty as it would have been at autopart for $100. so yeah after spending$1020 i found the problem it was the "wheel hub" so check also you wheel hub the reason my father told me they mess up beause they are some bearing inside that sonner or later it will mess up! an well mine mess up!HOpe it helps!
Thanks for the suggestions. Mine only has about 30K on the clock, so I doubt that I have a bearing issue, but you cannot rule anything out.
I do plan on getting her off the ground and doing an inspection myself. Still don't know which direction my mind is headed currently, but it still consumes my thoughts.
I have the exact same problem. I never noticed it before and I just got brand new wheels and tires and just started noticing it. I had them check the wheels and tires again and they said there balance was all good??? Anyone else have any good ideas? I'll put the car in the air tomorrow and see if there is any bearing play in the wheels, thats about the only thing I can check pertaining to the wheel bearing assy correct?

Well keep me posted......sounds like we have the same issue to me.
Get the one from autozone it's the same make as the dealer for a lot cheaper.
I was told to change the fronts both together since I had higher miles and it would happen to the other one next, but with your low mileage just change the one.
