Trailering Z06?
I am moving back to Bowling Green, KY from D.C. next weekend and wondering what is the best way to trailer my z06? I will have a moving truck from U-Haul and wondering if the trailers they have will safely transport my Z06? Getting the car on the trailer... opening up the doors once I am on the trailer?
Anyone have any experience or suggestions?

I trailered mine from CO to MS 4 months ago. Rent the "Auto Transport" from U-Haul, it worked great for my Z, came with straps that fit and all that good stuff. No problems loading either. Whatever you do DON'T PUT A CAR COVER ON DURING THE MOVE.

I used to use the U-haul to go to the track before I bought my own trailer. Ask for the newer galvanized model since they tend to be newer and in better shape.

I bought a trailer very similar to the Uhaul version. It is the best way to go. No stress on the the car at all. Just make sure your straps are crossed and secured. I also chock a wheel as an extra precaution. You may want to get the j-hooks from Northern Tools that are basically what the factory used to orginally ship your Vette. Connects to the frame holes perfectly and avoids marring.
