Default Ceramic Pads... Hawk or GM?

I have Baer Eradispeed non-drilled/slotted rotors on the front, dimpled on the rear (not sure of the manufacturer). Time for pads, which should I go with and why?

I have the Eradispeed slotted & drilled on my 01 with the AC Delco ceramics. They have been on for over 4 yrs stop great and very low dust. I called Baer and asked about using ceramic pads and they told me it was fine. I do not track my car so if you do ceramics probably wouldn't be the best choice.

I like Raybestos Quiet Stops. I've had them on several Vettes and I've had no problems.

I have had GM Ceramics, they stopped poorly (took a lot more force) and warped my rotors. I now use HAWK HPS, they are GREAT pads, they dust little and stop GREAT. I have drilled and slotted rotors also.

I also run Hawk HPS with Baer drilled and slotted rotors. The dust level is minimal. Stop very well.

We are a dealer for Hawk so I say Hawk all the way. If you're interested in a set let me know.

I don't know what's on my vehicle now, but I will be switching to Hawk next month.

I have Hawk HPS on mine and they dust pretty heavily. They also squeak.

I ran Hawk HPS pads on my '00 with the Baer Eradispeed rotors. Minimal dusting and very good performance.

Default Hawk hands down

I have HAWK street brake pads with drilled and slotted rotors... very little dusting. I am very satisfied. I haven't tracked my car so I can't comment from a harsh condition performance perspective, but for street driving, they're great.

Same here. Took them off after a few hundered miles and lots of wiping.

I have stock rotors and currently have Hawk's "performance ceramic" pads. Not real happy with them - they stop okay but they are terrible with brake dust! Even for normal street driving. I expect heavy dusting on hard stops at the track, but not the street. Waxing my chrome wheels made them easier to clean but...

I'll be going back to Raybestos Ceramic pads!
