Default Front Splitler Help

I want to put a front splitter on my 01 coupe, but I am not sure which might be the best. I have not seen a true splitter for C5's like the ones on the C6's and ZR1's. Any ideas on a good one and alsoi I plan on lowering the car down on the stock bolts, so i don't want anything that is to low.

Well first of all you should decide what kind of material you want. I would have to say fiberglass is much better quality but the poly kits are cheaper and more durable against parking curbs.
That's all I really know about stuff like this. But one word of advice is just keep in mind that you get what you pay for. I have had to many times that I have taken the cheap way out any it ended up being a bigger head ache that what I started with.
Good luck

you will not find anything that fits or looks like the c6 z06 or zr1, Ive been looking too. Best looking I have seen is the aci , it is low though and if you lower car even more so , plan on some scrapes.

You really can't go wrong with the ACI front spoiler..Great quality and fit and very easy to install..My car is lowered with the front bushings cut off and still has plenty of ground clearance...

I got a custom one made that looks like the Zr1 and it seems to fit great from just mocking it up.

I bought it from Adrian out in California.

That appears to be close to the look I want. It looks great on your car, and I like the contract. I was planning on a black finish on mine against the Torch Red. Probable a matte finish

Do you have any pictures of it mounted on your car?

Here are some pics of Adrian's car with his carbon fiber splitter installed. Adrian goes by "Torch FRC" here on the Forum. I believe he sells this splitter for approx. $500. It is custom carbon fiber.

Also, APR will manufacture a custom splitter at your request. I believe they already have the template for a C5, as some people here on the Forum have purchased splitters from APR. They are carbon fiber-reinforced. Price is $340.
