Default Opinion's on this combination

Hello, I've been driving my 04Z all summer. Its pretty new to me, but its time for some upgrades. I've always had fast cars and I'm impressed with the stock C5Z but like I said, time to drop some coin. Its and bone stock 25k C5Z.

The combo I'm leaning towards is stock short block with my 243 heads being CNC'd and milled to 60-62cc with 921 springs and hardend pushrods. TSP torquer v2 camshaft (spec=232/234 .595/.598 LS=112). Port matched Fast 90 with a 90mm TB. Varraram, pulley, 160T-stat, TSP headers with X-pipe(no cats). And to top it off a 150 wet shot(plate). The gearing I'm not sure on, 3.90 or 4.10"s. O' and the clutch I'm leaning towards a Mcleod RXT.

My goal is to be able to hang with the $75,000+(street cars) running around. Do u think 485 N/A RWHP is close ? Plus the wet shot, this should keep me in the mix of fast street ****. I was hoping with a great tune to put down 500RWHP N/A plus the 150 shot. I think I'm going to try the frost dual board/dual tune factory ECU.

I'm really lookin for all your opinions on the set up and its potential. Gearing, RWHP, Clutch, and how fast it should be???

Your gonna need better heads and a Bigger cam to hit 485 n/a

The only way I see you making close to 500 n/a is with a big cam and some big heads, but your gonna through driveability out the window.

What 75,000 street cars are you comparing your car to?

Seriously dont waste your money on a H/C/I Combo with n2o. For what your gonna spend id get a procharger/vortech/paxton, a nice clutch and a tune. Make 550+ and have fun with constant power with a great street manner

I was referring to $$$75,000+ sport cars(C6Z, Viper, GT/R, ect..)
Yeah, I've been considering FI. And the costs are coming down. Just for the record what does it take to lay down about 500RWHP N/A ? What has been some tried and trued combo's ? Stock short block speaking of course.

I'd love to here what it takes to makes 500 N/A

Thanks for the feed back
