Sorry guys as this may have been discussed a million times...
I have a 2003 Z06, and I threw the code P0410, so I popped open the hose next to the alternator to see if air was coming out when I cranked the car up. Well, not much air was coming out, and being in Mississippi I am not worried about emissions. I read that you can completely remove this system, and I was looking for a step-by-step on how to do so. Also, what caps do I buy to put on the end of each open end? Thanks for any help guys!
Just remove the whole thing! It will make plug changes a breeze! The only difficult part is reaching the bolt on the back of the driver's side head next to the firewall. I got to it without having to remove the intake. I disconnected the brake booster rubber hose and the braided stainless fuel like for better access. Look at the pics on page 2 of the below link where Bill posted some excellent pictures.
