Shorty Headers

I haven't heard much from people putting shorties on their cars . Can someone please comment if you've put headers on your Z and what kind , hell maybe even why you've choosen that brand .

Not many people install shorties because they give you very little hp gain, figure about 5-10 hp from shorties.

Got B&B SS shorts, had them JetHot coated. Pure bolt on. Slightly deeper exhaust sound, good seat of the pants, 10hp, look cool :yesnod:

I was thinking of getting the new Borla shorties. They are suppossed to over a more significant power increase than the B&Bs and they are fairly cheap at around $500.

Not Really looking at cost . It seems like there are half the guys on one side of the fence saying long tube is the way to go , and other guys saying shorties . Year 2002 don't have the precats like the 2001 . Therefore I thought longs would be the way to go for power . Not much over shorties only another 4-7 horse . What is really interesting to me is that the shorties have a nicer sound than the long tube , and if you really want to hear loud listen to a Z06 with shorties and a set of corsa's, you will hear the car for miles .
