Do you have a Six Speed or auto? It's not that bad either way. Are you planning on adding headers in the future? If so it will drone a bit between 1500 and 1900rpm. If you have a six speed you can up or down shift to adjust.

I had the following on my car before I finally was satisfied with BB PRT

SLP Loudmouth
Borla Stingers
Corsa Pace Car (too quiet)

I love the PRT's

I have a friend taking a set off his car because they are to loud for him and the local cop. Its a nice used set if your looking for one.

Send me a PM and I will give you his phone number if interested. He can also tell you about drone.

If you are keeping the car stock, you should be fine, but everyone's ears are different. If you can take a ride in a vette with this exahust if there is someone local in your area that would be a good idea. My PRT's are loud and drone a bit, but that is because I am running headers, hi-flow cats, heads/cam yadda yadda.

Forum member Tobasco (Brad) has a stock C5 with PRT's. Shoot him a pm. He is a friend of mine. I've ridden in his car and it is pretty quiet. His is an A4 also.

Hey Dennis Do you know if your buddy was running headers with his PRT's? I think they are pretty docile on a stock car,,,but everyone's ears are different.

I've got them on my supercharged vert with the stock exhaust manifolds. I'ts pretty quiet just driving around normally, but hit the boost and it sounds like a totally different car. I can't wait to install my headers...

I have a set on my 04, 6spd w/ headers. It does drone a little at around 1600 -1800 rpm steady speed. I usually up shift or down shift to change the rpm and it goes away.
