Here in Indiana there will still be driving opportunities in December. It'll get warm enough to melt the snow and with a little rain followed by some sun I'll be GTG. Now January here in Hoosierland is a different story. That's ok though I've got to pull the intake and replace the oil pressure sensor plus my passenger window won't come down. Right after Christmas is a good time to get the maintenance done.
i hate having a car that i can't drive year round...This is going to be my first full winter with the car (got her in march and it was off and on snow)
The weather guessers here are saying that the big storm moving across the country will deliver rain instead of snow when it comes through here. It will wash away all that nasty brine mix they put down on the bridges and overpasses. I might have another week or two before I'll have to put it away until EARLY spring !
My vette's been in the body shop for 2 weeks 'cause some idiot didn't see the red car or the yield sign.
The body shop called yesterday to say it would be ready today. I told him I would pick it up when the roads were clear....not sure when that will be since we got 4-6 inches of snow today!
Wonder if they can charge storage fees to the idiot's insurance!!
I moved down to FL 3 years ago and never looked back. It was 80 and sunny here today. A great day to take the Vette to work and drive along the beach to my job. I feel for you northereners. I lived on Long Island and I used to hate putting my cars away for the winter.

Sorry to hear about the damage to your Vette. I hope you are able to get it out of there and back into your own garage soon.
I just came in from shoveling about 2" of wet, heavy snow. As usual, the snow plow left a 2' pile of snow that was like concrete in front of our driveway. Spring can't get here any too soon.

ah, this grinds my gears! And that 2' he leaves isn't fluffy stuff either! hard, and packed down from coming off the plow
I hate snow! We were under a Winter Storm advisory last night, which has now changed to a Blizzard warning until 7 pm...... Thursday!
Wow,,St. Louis area has been lucky!! 3-4 am 41 degrees,,,but 40-50 mph winds moved in around 2:30 am and temps are dropping like a rock27 by noon with only flurries. Most of the snow moving around us!! This area is the toughest area in the world to predict!!We are the national intersection for fronts from the west,,north and from the gulf!! They NEVER know for sure exactly when and where they are going to meet. I drive her all year long(except for the NASTY stuff) The heaters work great in the small cabin of the FRC(I have a divider from the trunk) Get the motor (I watch the oil temp) warmed up and she REALLY wakes up gulping that dry -3* air!!
