Default Fire Extinguisher

I would like some idea`s as to where is the best place to mount my fire extinguisher in my 2004. Maybe some of you could show me some photos. Greatly appreciated.

On another note, I took the Vette out for a drive through Lake Sherwood yesterday. Got a chance to see how it handles through the turns and accelerate on the straights. My fiance has never been in a car that could do a burnout. Since I need new tires anyway, I showed her!!!!!!

Mine's on the floor under the driver's seat. There's a mount for it. Nice clean install and easy to get to.

Now that is neat ! It looks like it was installed at the factory. Very nice, and it's were you can unsnap it and use it quickly.

Mine's a HALON in a BREY-KRAUSE mount. I made angled standoffs to angle the handle downwards slightly so there's less chance of my wife hitting it when exiting/entering...

Thats where wifey puts her bag. Now lets see, the car is insured on an agreed value policy and I could easily replace it, mod the replacement to where I am and probably wind up with 30k less miles on the otehr car; or come between wifey and her pocketbook . . .hmmm . . .

Im going with leaving things the way they are, she gets that side and all the audio and climate control and route planning, and I get the side with the skinny pedal works for me

But seriously, I should figure a way to put a small one somewhere.

Here's mine mounted on the drivers side. Made the bracket myself from a piece of flat stock. Removed the pins from the front seat mount covers and replaced with bolts, spacers and plastic ***** so it's easy to remove.

Customized the bracket for a smaller fire ext. Painted the fire ext to match the car.

On this note, what type of fire extinguishers are you guys mounting? There's a special kind for vehicle fires, right?

I went and bought our average fire extinguisher from Lowe's and mounted it to the rear, center bin cover. Its out of the way, yet easily accessible.

This is the best pic I have
