After several years of the same appearance, I am debating on changing the current appearance. I like the way it looks but have an "itch" to change the color. Let me know what thoughts/suggestions you have. Thanks.
Looks clean and nice, check at pat (flasunhine1) he can hydro carbon your pieces in black carbon fiber , that with the shiny parts and white exterior would look very nice......IMO
My opinion-
I don't mind painting or polishing existing components, but I really dislike additional covers. The stock FRCs are bad enough - I'd much rather see the coil packs relocated and the valve covers polished.
Covers add weight - Vettes are supposed to be lightweight.
Covers hold heat against components - cooler components perform better and last longer
Covers are often times hard to clean behind
Even worse are covers with C5 logos on them. last time I counted my car had 30 logos or scripts on it in various places. Isn't that enough?... or do we really need to add more?
All of this is a contradiction to what a Corvette is... Lean, Mean and clean.
I like the red, it looks clean not over done. But if you do change let me know, I'm in the middle of a red thing under the hood, The fender covers and tanks are the only major things left to do.
