Default License Plate LEDs

I originally bought some license plate LEDs to replace my stock bulbs from Corvette Enhancements but one by one they randomly stopped working. Anyone know of another website where I can buy some white or light blueish LEDs? Thanks.

Currently backordered though. They should be in early next week. I can't keep these things in stock

I got a set of license plate light assemblies off a 2009 Lexus GS350..and installed them replacing the original assemblies that came with my vette. WOW........Incredible change, very precise, sharp and reliable.

Always liked the GS350 license plate lights because they are a TRUE white and i know they'll last longer than the chinese led's i've always had issues with....Issues include:
-resistors going bad and led assembly turns into a strobe
-bad diodes and no light at all
-moisture inside LED assemblies causing rust

The assemblies are made in Japan and are sealed airtight. They are angled internally to focus all the light to one side (the plate).

Install was easy, just use one of the 2 screws that hold the stock assembly and 3M tape in the inside portion of the bumper cover working through the taillight opening you remove to get your hand inside the bumper cover.

Pics below.....

Oh yeah, and i used the same LED's from the GS350 for my rearview mirror and ambient light.

these haev 6-chips. I use them all the time....you'll need to install your own 194 connector or do a direct splice into the tag light circuit.
