These are a completely different process that the ones shown by the OP (as well as what I just purchased/installed). The ones we have use rubberized inserts (much like the factory emblems) - they can be removed from the chrome housing and replaced.
Well I guess I should have just read a little more instead of just popping a post!

Whats to figure out Im screwed lol I'll polish it up make it look nice and hope it doesnt get worse. I think after 174k miles I'll be having bigger issues around the corner and this will all be like chump change compared to the electrical and motor. LOL

haha, Well if you put it that way!
What kind of sub is that?
Looks great! I also bought a set of these from the same vendor, just haven't gotten around to putting them on yet. Great quality! They have a very solid "weighty" feel. Not cheap feeling at all.
Looks nice. Is the nose emblem flat? I"m curious how well it contours to the bumper
I actually got a set of these off the auction site, great quality chrome emblem for $50 for a set of 2 but they are flat. I didn't want to chance bending the front one thinking I'd screw up the chrome, thats always my luck, but now that I hear you did it successfully, I might give it a go

haha, I just did very little pressure and would constantly check it everytime I put little pressure on it. I would take it off to check it and after about 4 half turns on the vise it finally was pretty close, then by the time I stuck it on there it held on just fine! But just a little tweaking at a time is what I did. Good luck and let me know how it turns out!
