I believe it is just a matter of lubing the chassis more specifically sway bar bushings. Just asking you guys for confirmation, or preferrably, personal experience. My shocks are still good, thank God. Cars got over 80k miles now and when going over speed bumps, when the back end settles, makes a squeaking noise. Ideas, thoughts, etc appreciated.
When I installed Z06 sway bars on my coupe, the bushings squeaked horribly. I quickly replaced them with urethane bushings and the squeaks went away completely, and has been the same for 3 years now. I would start there. I don't have the part numbers, but I remember them being fairly cheap.

80k on original shocks??? Believe me they need to be replaced. At 40k if you replace them, you will see a big difference. What makes you think they are still good?
As far as your squeaking, I would replace the sway bar bushing.
Just remove the front/rear sway bar bushings and grease the insides of them. You can also buy Energy Suspension bushings that have a grease fitting on them so you don't have to remove them to grease them.

I am not getting a "Shocks Inoperative" message on my DIC. I've never known a car's shocks need replacing at 40k unless it was abused.
