It is rare these shocks go bad, with the amount of miles you have on yours they should still be working great -

If you decide to change them you can go with the C6 Z06 Shock- this is an upgrade that many do with their current set-ups and also install the C6 Z51 Sway Bars!

Don't know who told you that, but the shocks should not need replacement at 30K miles. As long as you are not having any of the problems mentioned above, keep the shocks you have unless you just want to upgrade.
if the shocks are bad you will know it every time you hit a bump. It will feel like the car is bottoming out and you will hear a loud thump. There is no mistaking it. Your shocks are fine, keep driving.
