Won't go in reverse
6 Speed All of sudden today. I stopped at the gas station get back in the car and it won't go in reverse. Could this be the reverse lock out selnoid? It doesn't grind in reverse or had any previous problems. Doesn't want to go into first sometimes. It will pop out if you don't push into first good. Also have a after market short throw shifter. Not a hurst. Can't remeber what brand it is. But has been in the car for 5 years.

Another person here just had a similar problem...in his case, the speedometer was showing above zero while stopped. If yours is possibly doing this, the reverse lockout will be engaged. Pull your codes too.
