Default Engine Dress up

I want to get the Fuel Rails, washer tank and coolant tank covers in MY. Where is the best place to get them?

Thank you and happy holidays

Do you want the tank covers that simply go over your existing tanks, or do you want to have yours painted. If you are looking for the covers and a set of painted FRC check out RPI Designs.

I used RPI for the covers, they look great but not cheap.

If you have a little spare time on a weekend I would recomend just doing them yourself and saving a TON of money. If you were to buy the FRCs, both tank covers, radiator shroud, etc. you're looking at maybe $1,000 just to make your engine look clean whereas you could buy everything to do it yourself for under $100. Plus I had fun when I did mine. Here's my FRCs and shroud done by myself in MY.

Most of the major vendors (Mid-America, Ecklers, WCC) have the covers. You can also look at AutoBuffs and RPI as mentioned above. Or you can try and paint your stock parts yourself. I've got some Word files that talk about painting engine parts - if you'd like a copy, PM me your e-mail address.

DIY if you have the time. Besides, they look just as good and you will save a bundle for some additional bling. This pic included, was my DIY project last winter. Good luck with you choice.

I have a full set of MY painted parts if you are interested. I did two sets of everything last winter. The set includes the fuel rail covers, radiator shroud, and both the coolant and washer tanks (not covers). The fuel rail covers have chrome "Corvette" letters. I would sell the whole package for $450 plus shipping if you are interested.

Used primer, Krylon Fusion paint, a lot of sandpaper, and had it cleared (by a friend) at a body shop with Dupont Clear. I paid big $$$ for an engine kit in Lemans blue for my car and then thought.. I could have done this! So I made a set for my bf for Christmas and they came out beautiful, as you can see. I have a write up on how to do it and will post it soon. It takes time, but the results and savings are worth it.
Here's another pic:

Always do it yourself. FRC's painted by me with some spray paint. I did it twice cuz the first time the color was off, but I found a darker shade. Only pic I have.

Thank you! These took me about 2 weeks (on and off) to complete. The sanding is the most tedious part. Then spraying in a dust-free environment (which is nearly impossible). I kept getting a little dust on them so I'd let them dry and then lightly sand again, then spray color again. The clear really did the trick at the end (along with the lettering). The best part is knowing that you can do this yourself.

Shirl if I remember correct you bought a blue Corvette a while back when you were on the CamaroV6 forums right? How is it coming along?
