There are tons of options. Check out the audio/electronics section. The most popular is a stealth box for the recessed area in trunk.

Check out www.DoubleDmods.com for their line of sub boxes. I build them and have sold over 200+ with many satisfied customers. I offer a variety of boxes such as stealth or hangover style with single or dual subs. You also can choose your choice of carpet (Black, Torch Red, Shale, Lt.Oak or Pewter). Some subs can be purchased also through Doubledmods. The Elemental designs 11kv is a great sounding sub. Since Christmas is less than a week away and New Years following, I will not be building any until the first of the year. If you would like to check out more pics, you can do so at the following links.

Had my subs (12") installed in the two small storage compartments in the trunk. Works great and didn't require any loss in rear storage. Maybe not for everyone, but worked for me. Sorry, pix is a little lame.

Thanks for helping me out with the info Jason.

I have access to many subs as well.

I personally run the e5.12 Elemental Designs in a "tweaked" sub box Jason built for me. This sub is awesome and I highly recommend it

I personally run Alpine Subwoofers in everything I drive, I love them.

However JL Audio was always another choice for me.
I have one JL 12 w3 (330 rms) that I would love to get rid of.

As far as the box goes, the posts so far look great. Make sure your interior cubic volume of the box is correct for the sub you are using.

Jason

I'm about to start a big install as well. I'm gonna strip the interior to deaden the crap out of this loud azz Coupe! A layer or two of Second Skin Damplifier Pro and then a layer of Luxury Liner Pro over that. To help keep the weight down, I'm gonna fiberglass the enclosure for my two Diamond Audio 10"s. I am also putting a 3 way component system in the doors. Kicker Resolutions. 8" Midbass, 6" Midrange, and 1" Silk Tweeters. The rear will have the same speakers minus the 8" Midbass drivers.
The subs will be powered by a bridged Fosgate Power 800A2. The Midbass drivers will be powered by a bridged Fosgate Punch 800A4. The front and rear component speakers will be powered by a Phoenix Gold Titanium Elite 500.4
An Audio Control 6XS Electronic crossover will be used to control frequencies and an Audio Control Epicenter to keep my subs sounding just right.
Only thing I'm missing is a large capacitor. I have several 1 Farad caps but want to use a big super cap in this car. 20+ Farad most likely. Also gonna run an Optima Yellowtop or Batcap battery under the hood. I'm hoping the electrical system can handle it without having to spend a small fortune on a bigger alternator.
Gonna start in a few weeks once I have all the Second Skin products on hand. I plan on starting a post showing pics as I work on it. Should be fun.

This setup kicks ***. I also put in a good bit of Dynamat under the carpet in the rear deck area. Tons of bass, no rattles.

I went with dual 12`s and an amp rack where the top goes. This winter it will be redone with the 12`s moved forward and the amps hidden to give me a little bit of storage.

No problem, Dennis. I also have rear center compartment covers with integrated grills available for those who have stealth boxes.

DUAL 12's

Heck I have a 6 inch tube at 25% power and it rattles my fillings.

You must be able to break up kidney stones with that cranked up

I went with two 8" Solobarics and a 1500 watt MTX class D amp in my C5 Coupe..Built a custom perforated cover using the factory cover as a template

Didnt want to lose valuable cargo space in my C5 Vert, so went with a smaller amp in the center cargo well and a custom enclosure with a JL Audio 10" dub 3 anchored in the passenger side cargo well...Im able to place cargo over the well cover this way

Of course my C6Z got the ultimate custom enclosure with 10" JL Audio dub 3 and 600 watt Alpine amp

I am looking for a grilled, covered center cubby cover. Do you make these? Mark
