Default Anyone have pics of custom molded rear brake ducts???

I'm interested in getting rear brake ducts for my convertable but I want them custom molded. I don't really like the way the Z06 ducts stick out from the body. I like the nice clean look when it's molded. If anyone has pics, I would really love to see them. Thanks,

Thanks for the great pic. That is exactly what I want. Can you tell me where you bought it? Hopefully I can find a custom shop around here who can mold it as nice as yours.

I must say that you have excellent taste in mods. I have a silver 98' with the tiger shark rear end with the middle painted carbon fiber. I'm also about to order either your exact wheels or the CCW T10 wheels (20/19 combo). Thanks again for the pic.

I like these a lot! Curious, I wonder how well the paint will hold up with rocks and other debris coming off the front tires?

How much to get them installed and painted?

the breathless ones are the same one I put on one of my cars. Thinking of doing the other car this winter. WARNING! these DO get beat to SH*% if you don't get them done with the chip protection sheets like 3M. Ask me how I know. Had to get them re-painted before.

Where they hard to install?

Not that hard to install. This was actually my first attempt at bodywork. It was very time consuming as I am not a professional. There was a thread on here (CF) that I used as a training aide (link below). There is a part 1-5. I contacted the OP of the DIY thread and he was really helpful. It is amazing the attention to detail one will pay when they are working their own car.

Thanks again...I assume you had a body shop do the paint work. I may just give this a try. I need a winter project.

Haven't had any rock chips at all but I only drive it on weekends and only had them for about a month. As far as cost, my body guy had never done these before so he quoted me $500 installed and painted. I got the better end of the deal, took him about 2 full days to glass them in perfectly and paint. I think if he had to do them again he would want more $$$.

I'll have to dig up some pics of my rear ducts. I also have the Breathless Performance ones. I'd read post in the So Cal region subforum about how somone had his installed from behind the the body panel, rather than laying it on top of the body panel. This is how I had mine done and I think it makes it look even better as it's more tucked in. Getting some sort clear bra type of protection is a must, but mine look great after almost a year with the clear bra.
