Years ago I asked a similar question about some of the things listed on my car. The answer I got was that the build sheets include items that are is of very little interest to most folks, but are either required by federal statues, or significant to the assemblers/suppliers. For example, the PCM (Pollution Control Module) may be vehicle specific due to size, shape, or some other spec. The Feds just want to be sure the car came equipped with it. The suppliers need to know how many are being used of what type. And we as owners probably couldn't care less.
Outside of Corvette fanatics, very few people give a hoot about our build sheets.

The PCM is the Powertrain Control Module
Everything on the sheet is just what it says, build codes for the assmeblers to put the car together and nothing more.
