It was a total surprise, I had no idea she was even looking for one. My brother in law bought a 2008 C6 about 2 months ago and she saw how I drooled over that car I guess. She started throwing out little questions like....If you got another one, would you want a C6 or a C5 Z06. I just thought maybe she was coming around to the idea of me getting one. I am definately going to clean it up today and take some more pictures. Does anybody have a good method for removing the two trunk emblems off the sides? I was thinking I would need some spray to help remove the adhesive.
Use a hair dryer to heat them up a little bit and use fishing line in a sawing action to cut the tape. Keep the fishing line as flat to the paint as possible if you want to keep the emblems. Congrats on the new car!
