Quick question... I'm replacing the tweeters on my 2004 C5. In my search I read the left front was, '+' = tan and '-' = gray. Well in pulling the left front I'm seeing a black/red stripe and black/green stripe. The red stripe has the smaller female spade and the green stripe has the larger female spade. Which one is positive and which is negative? Also what is the right front color code?

For speakers it really doesn't matter, it will work either way. There is a very slight phase difference if the wires are swapped, but most people can't hear it. Don't worry, you won't blow it up.

Ok thanks.
I went back and followed them to the harness and saw the tan/gray wires. It ended up being the red stripe was the + and the green stripe the - . I didn't know it wasn't that important.
