maggie, eaton you need to get a new hood to fit the blower, and paint to match so cost is alot more. AA, procharger, fit under the stock hood and perform better than the others that require a hood change. my AA kit makes 590 rwhp on a stock 03 zo6 and drives like a normal car till you mash the go pedal.

I'll have to disagree with the statement that the ones that "fit under the stock hood" perform better than "others that require a hood change".
They provide different power.... in different ways. How you want to use the power will greatly influence your decision.
There is a lot of info to be found searching the FI section. I ended up going with the Kenne Bell (twin screw, needs a hood change) and I love it... But I'm sure I would have loved just about any of the kits out there.
My suggestion would be to do the research, contact the tuner/vendor close to you for opinions/options and then have it tuned by a good, experienced tuner.
See the FI section for sure. In a generalized way though, the positive displacement (maggies, etc.), produce more off the lower rpm range, while the centrifugals make more up top. Either, set up correctly with street tires, will make first gear pretty much useless (even with TC on!), second questionable at anything less than 75 degrees and sunny, and third gear can be 50/50 at times. I'm in the A&A 590hp club also, and despite the above "limitations"(), can guarantee either will turn your car into more of a giggle factory than it already is.
Oh yeah, and the whole "still drives like stock" thing. Went to sister-in-laws wedding in Valley Springs, reception in San Andreas, took Hwy 49, had alot of "giggles" on the way back, and still averaged 19.6 mpg for the trip. Stoopid car.
Whatever route you choose, there is nothing like a supercharged V-8.. Just beware that it is addicting and no matter how much power you make, after while you will want more. I've been in the 660 rwhp range with my procharger for a year and now want to bump it up.. The only con thus far is the lack of traction.
Yep. One of the reasons I went with a mild cam is for the future addition of FI. I will probably also go with one of the A&A kits. The centri-blowers seem a better fit for our cars, but I'm sure the screw-blowers are stupid fun on the street.
Do u guys running superchargers have stock internals?
I do but I'm pretty much @ my limit I'm @ 552 with a paxton. If i go any more, meaning more boost I Will be doing some things down the road but for now, no need.
Thanks (don't get me started on how trick that thing is!)

I do, that's why I'm at 590 hp. Stock ring lands get kind of iffy above 600 hp. Some do fine, others RIP. I'm talking cylinder pressure, while detonation can also be an issue at any level FI. Mine would be around 640 hp if we put full timing in it. I'm currently upgrading diff., forged internals have to wait. As stated above "once you start......"

Yea Detonation Can be a Kill issue. I Run @ least Half a Tank 100 octane and Sunoco 93 in a tank full, unless i go to the track than maybe alittle more.
I'd like to know how trick the bike is. You road race it?
On topic, I personally know people making well in to the 600s (in rwhp) on stock bottom end. Pretty impressive imo and these are not cars that are just driven around town and never beat on. The LS6 is a good motor. Yeah, it has limits, but it certainly holds its own.
