How are you supposed to use it..

Afy,
no, the G Tech won't do the 0-100 trick, it will do 0-60, and 1/4 mile times.........also many other things that really don't mean squat to most of us.
Such as G forces, and Top HP.........but, they factor in the drag losses for the car, and are difficult for most to figure.......

You mount it in the dead center of your windshield.......make sure you have it FIRMLY against the window, and br on level ground.

Flip the switch to the mid position and adjust the unit for 0.00.......exact level.
Push the button again for the unit to go into "GO", mode...........

When you launch, it will automatically start, and if you want 60mph times, apply brakes firmly after you go past 60 mph......you need not STOP......just slow quickly.....

If you want to go a full 1/4, do the same routine, and launch, and it will automatically measure the distance and time, and speed......

Typically, if it is mounted firmly, it will be off around 1-2/10th's for a quarter(high), and the trap will be 2-3 mph fast......it's not incorrect, it just measures a full 1/4............

There is more, but this is probably what you are looking to use it for........

Others know way more than i about them, and can give some aditional pointers........this has been my experiece with them .............they are remarkably accurate for such an inexpensive accelerometer. :)

PS:It will only work properly if used on a level strip/highway/etc........if you run up grades or down, it will NOT be correct.

I have one, too, and it is a neat gadget.

I just wish it wasn't do darn tiny! Old eyes like mine have a hard time focusing on microscopic displays like that.
