Default Z06 Badges

I saw a C5 Z06 the other day and it had a Z06 badge, just like the one on the fender, on the rear bumper on the right side below the tail lights. Mine doesn't have that badge, is that stock for some years?

No. Not stock. He (or somebody who's not GM) put it there.

I've seen it myself, but I didn't like it. It looks weird.

I did it to my 03Z. It replicates the 90's zr1 badging. They had a badge there. Alot of guys do it. I like that when the guy pulls up behind you, he know what he taking on. LOL

I prefer to not to let them know what I have no matter what. Yeah, it's a Z06, but a lot of people out there don't know what that is.

A guy came up to me as said "That's a stick?" And I said, "Yeah, all Z06's are manuals." He had a shocked look on his face and said "That's a Z06?!" LOL

I pointed at the fender badging and he's like "Oh! Wow... Ok. So what does Z06 mean?"

HAHA

It's easy to confuse folks who know nothing about Vettes with the 5's, 6's, Z06's...

Sometimes the extra badges look cool, sometimes not.

I have an enhancer plate between the exhaust, the original 405 badges on the side and one spare 2001 badge stuck perfectly in the middle of the ashtray lid.

I think that's it...

I don't like them on the rear, but I plan to add one to the ashtray lid. I've seen pictures and it looks (to me) like a terrific addition.

It's alright. This badge was given to me.. I didn't know what else to do with it. I sure wasn't gonna stick it on the back of my car. (It's not a 405 badge anyway! )

I saw a guy last night driving a red C6 convertible with a C6 Z06 badge on the back right under the corvette emblem. It didnt even look or sound like it had any mods to it. I pulled up next to him in mine, shook my head in disapproval and sped off. At the next light he would not even look in my general direction. poser...

It wasn't a 405hp badge. It just was Z06, maybe it was aftermarket. I thought it looked odd. I have a Z06 405hp exhaust plate and I think that looks good.

I put a stock emblem on the bottom of my stock rear license plate frame. I want some punk in Civic to know not to bother

If you got it.... flaunt it. People are usally trying to figure out the license plate more than looking at the emblem.......

I had one on the back and took it off. Didn't like it there. So I stuck it on the front.

Clearly the five Z06 badges GM put on the car are not enough. There are still a couple angles where you might forget what kind of car it is.

IMO, it is too much on the rear. Those people who will be potentially impressed know what kind of vette you have just by looking at it and the extra emblem may look rice-ified to purists. For everyone else, they look at the badge and probably don't know what it signifies. In closing, I would like to say that the emblem on the exhaust on mine (and many other c5 Zs) is enough extra zo6 eblemization of the rear end.
