YES! Got it (Build Sheet)
Thanks to instructions DeeGee got me, I underwent the madness to get the front fascia off the car to get the original buildsheet.
I know I am probably crazy, and could have bought a better looking replica, but I wanted the actual thing.
It really wasn't that big of a pain getting things off, going back on may be a different story.
The date is 3/30/2004, a day after my birthday which is pretty neat.
Here is the pics of it:
Now to tackle the Vararam install

Awesome!!!
I wonder if mine is still there.... my whole car has been painted by the previous owner (no accident) I wonder if the panels have been off and the body shop dudes have messed with the build sheet.
Time will tell.

I would rather have the nice new copy from the museum rather than go to the trouble to dig that out.

Yeah, well I figured with the Vararam install and everything else, why not.
Plus I got to do it with my dad, so time spent with him is always good.
On a side note...does anyone have a spare one of these?:
I boogered up one pretty good trying to get the fascia off. Really just need 1 or 2.
Thanks.

or take it with you to the local NAPA. most of them have a supply of different plastic fasteners. you can also get them in a paint and body shop supply store.

Thanks, I think having the original is just awesome.
If I can get it back together and it all looks good, I'll be happy.
Going to start working on the Vararam after I eat supper.

Still don't get why the build sheet is such a big deal. What does it tell you that's so "cool"?

It's just an interesting piece of the car's history. I like the "little" things like that.
I love the Corvette and its heritage, its a big deal to me. I know I'm weird though.

It's better when it's found still in the car 50 years later if the car was special in some way.

Well like I said, its special to me, it was the first Corvette in the family.
