well its time for my once or twice a year to remove polish and reinstall, any new ideas??? i have probably tried about everything, it seems like it gets worst each time.....i guess there is no such thing as majic wand.....thanks....
I would suggest polishing them more frequently. It's always going to be a chore but once or twice a year? If you drive a lot they are going to be REALLY bad everytime.
I made this thread with pictures about polishing aluminum. You can skip to the final few steps. The 'ventilated buff' and 'drill arbor' were from Eastwood.com
SimiChrome paste is from Eastwood or Amazon.com
Use some good microfiber towels from a local auto parts store.
With the supplies shown and a corded drill, you could make your wheels look new spending 20 minutes on each.
thank goodness its not summer, i would have lost enought weight to have them triple chromed...to anyone who has had theirs chromed...any good chrome shop in southeast and about how much $$$$....local power coat shop wants 275.00 to power coat 4 rotors...i think i will spray paint them with vht high gloss black and bake them in my own oven....

If you are going to chrome them. Same the problems and go with callichrome. They are one of the best, just have to box and ship them.
I found some stuff @ Mrytle Beach Bike week a few years ago clled "WHITE DIAMOND"
I polished the frame on my Suzuki GSX-R
It did a great job after the 18hrs I spent wet sanding
I've had 3 sets of CCWs, and have used just about all of the store brands, as well as some of the boutique brands too.
With my 505a's on my Viper, I've been using Blingmaster polish sold here on the forum. It's a different consistency than I've seen before, and it polishes quickly, with minimial effort. If you've ever used a claybar, and the way you can feel the imperfections kind of gliding away...thats how this polish feels. At any rate, its without a doubt, the easiest polish I've had to remove.
Honestly, I can't speak highly enough about the product...thats how impressed I've been
