Have used a two post on 4" of cement for years, no problems. The vehicle may bounce/sway/rock a small amount when up, not a problem, you get used to it.
Front tires drive up on 2 ply 2x10 planks, arms swing under without the pads on the arms, hockey pucks with eyes go between the arms and lift points. One man job, sure doesn't take two people as stated above.
Never owned a four post, I've used them and by far prefer my two post.
Jesus H. Christ. Doesn't anybody make a 2-poster you can just drive up, position the arms and raise the car? Every damn lift on here requires jacking up the car. If I wanted to jack it up, I wouldn't be looking for a lift.
Well, I could always shell out $$$ for ultra low profile arms, but not worth it in my opinion. For the range of vehicles this lift will see over the next few years, that money's better spent on other tools (and 'vette upgrades).

race ramps has a good solution for creating clearance there:
Nice! That'll definitely come in handy when I (eventually) get around to lowering my ride!
Gotta keep an eye on 4 post lift options, as well. Eventually we'll be remodeling and adding onto our garage. Hopefully this'll result in a full cover over the 2 post and the addition of a single car garage onto the end. If all works out, I'll be putting in two 4 posts.
