Default headlights wont go down!

Hey guys, I just installed an hid kit on my 2000 corvette. Everything works good until i shut the headlights off and they stay up. Once i get them down manually and turn them back on they pop up fine. I checked all fuses and wires everything seems to be good. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not uncommon. Turn them to bright and then off, they'll go down.

I beilieve JW has a fix for this. PM him.

Go ahead and get some 20 amp fuses for the lows. The resistor usually requires this change in order to work

I have not changed my fuses yet, but the two times I've used my new HIDs they went down just fine.

I was going to change the fuses but then realized that they are the "micro" fuses and I didn't have any of those in my fuse kit.

So far so good without the fuse change though.

Yeah these C5s are weird sometimes. What works on one car doesn't always work on the other.

Just put in HIDs from JWM and was planning on using the high beam trick above for turing the lights off but it isn't working????
