stupid pic question
I was able to post a pic a long time ago, but it appear I do not have he ability to "manage attachments". I read the post on how to attach pics, but am wondering if I need a different kind of status.

I added the 2 small xx after img so you can see how it looks.

I doubt its that. If you mean the check boxes at the bottom left that say (you may not post attachments) mine says that also and I post pics fine.

So I need to have a photobucket or online account. I can' just pull them from my laptop?

They have to be hosted on the net somewhere...
I would just get a photobucket account, they are free and make life much easier. Also they have built in editing tools.

Photos are not considered attachments when you post a link to a photo that is hosted on another web site. You are posting a link, not an attachment.
If you pay to become a supporting member or vendor, then you have the ability to post an attachment like a .jpeg, a .gif, .doc, .xls....etc.
