Default CyberdineGraphics decal help needed...

If someone has installed one of these I need to know if there were any special instructions. I picked one up from my forum buddy Yanni for my interior upgrade. There is a link for installation instructions on the package, but the link is dead (cyberdinegraphics.com/corvette_c5.html). I just want to be sure there are no unusual steps before I install it. It is to go on the center console lid that I covered with alcantara. There is a slight curve to the surface and I want to insure the tips of the C5 emblem do not pop up....

''It is to go on the center console lid that I covered with alcantara.''

Don't think it will stay on a porous surface!

I will find out....I am bringing the console lid indoors where the humidity is low and it is 70 degrees, like they recommended for conditions. Also, I will add a few drops of glue at the tips etc to insure adhesion...also I plan to put a couple books on it overnight and pray for the best!

Will 97% alcohol work the same? Not sure if that is denatured but, that is what I keep.

Yes, no problem...will evaporate faster than solutions with more water in them...just be sure to wait til it is perfectly dry.

Default Done...

Turned out perfect...tips stayed down...I guess this proves it will stick to alcantara, even if it is perforated. Kept in front of the fireplace where the air is warm and dry.

Well I hope it does stay on for you, but summer heat is coming.
My worry is that the bottom of the 'flag staff's' will curl, and break off.
Keep your fingers crossed.
