my 2002 zo6 is having hard time going into reverse it seems like it is grinding until i play with it then she finaly goes into gear please help with some knowledge of whats happening thanks dave

Also have to wonder if your clutch is fully disengaging while trying to find Reverse or any gear. Could be low clutch fluid (check the reservoir) or a needed adjustment ( is there an adjustment? I dunno).
Or....between trying to change gears...try letting the clutch out to slow down planetary gears (could be talking out me **** here) in order to help the gears mesh. (like double clutching in some cars)
I'm speaking from usual car experience but not necessarily for our Corvettes as I have yet to gain much experience working on my 'o2.
Please,....somebody with more knowledge tell me if I'm off course so I can learn too.
Worn synchro rings is also a good call....
