Default New Borla Installed

I installed my new Borla Stinger that I bought from Southern Car Parts. Installed easy, I might have to adjust the alignment of the tips, anyway it sounds great. When they say aggresive they are right. It is a loud exhaust and I'm thrilled, sounds great. I read every thread I could find before I bought the Borla, and that good price from Southern Car Parts helped. Anyway here's the pics.

You can not go wrong with that exhaust. You still have the stock manifolds and midpipe?

I have the stock H pipe and stock cats. I do have the JBA shorty headers. The Borla sounds fanstatic, sounds mean. I listened to every you tube I could find and none of those sounded as good as mine. I'm thrilled. And what a price from Southern Car Parts.

I was only able to cruise at about 50-55mph. I thought it was quite at those speeds. I do have the Southern Car Parts Partition. I need a better check out drive but it seems like at cruise it is very acceptable. Today's a nice 78deg, if I can get the grandkids to go home I'll go for a drive. (But in city traffic it was fanstatic.

Borlas can be very loud inside the cabin at highway speed.
We just took these back off a friend's car, and reinstalled the stock exhaust. On other cars, we went with electric cutouts so you can hear the exhaust when you want to, but still close them on the highway for cruising. That is probably the option we will go with on this car too. Instead of a manual switch for the cutouts, I found a remote control relay so he can contol them without having to mount a switch.

This thread is completely worthless without a video/sound clip....

I have a Borla exhaust on mine it came with it and I love it! I know the feeling. I hope you enjoy it. Congrats man!

I recently had a vararam and borla stingers installed and the difference in sound is like night and day. When I was making the decision, here are the links to the videos that made me say "I gotta have em"
