Default front emblem removal

So today i notice my front emblem has peeled up on the sides. I was going to take it entirely off but don't want there to be hole's I know some manufactures use bot adhesive and bolts. Is this the case with our cars front and side emblems??

It has locating holes in the front cover. Recently re-did mine. Take a razor blade and work it under the emlbem gently around the outer edges. you might want to use a little masking tape to protect the paint. Once you get it off use the razor blade to remove all the old adhesive. Then a little mineral spirits for the final clean. I used thin industrial grade double sided tape (gray) made by 3m to reapply the emblem.

The nose is the only emblem that has locating holes.

In the past I’ve used a heat gun to heat up the paint and glue. If you don’t do this you can pull the paint off with the old emblem. Pull the old one off then use 3M adhesive remover to get the residue off. This is the safest way not to damage your paint. Other ways can cause clear coat and paint damage.

Just about any auto parts store should have it. I bought a couple of rolls from a local AutoZone.

Took both front and rear emblems off with fishing line cleaned up with go gone. Found two white plugs for front end looks fine like it better without them.
