Default Temporary storage

I will be storing my '95 in my garage for about 2 1/2 months starting Monday Jan 25. I live in the mountains of NC near Boone. The temps will be at or below freezing possibly for days at a time and could drop in the single digits. My garage is insulated and on the coldest days does not drop below 46 degrees. What do I need to do to the battery, fuel and tires?

Thanks guys.

Keep a battery tender hooked up to the battery, might want put in some StaBil in the gas tank (won't hurt anything), and add a few pounds of air to the tires. If you have a cover, go ahead and cover the car to keep dust off. That's about it.

Nothing special. Just put it on a float charger (the battery will definitly be dead if you dont, Id recommed looking at the Ctek, its a very smart charger).

You dont want to start it, starting it and letting it run till it gets up to temp doesnt really do anything for it and may actually hurt a bit (the change in temp is what you are trying to avoid :-)). If you drove it a bit (for like 15 minutes that would be a different story) but if its not gonna be moving, better to just leave it alone.

Two and a half months is nothing. And btw, in case it comes up, modern tires dont normaly flat spot, so there isnt anything special you have to do there either. Some people inflate them to 40 lbs, others park on carpet squares, none of that will hurt anything, probably not necessary though.

If you were to grab a piece of outdoor carpet and park the entire car on it, that may have some small impact on condensation, so it wouldnt be a bad idea, but again, not necessary.

I agree, Put some stabile in the car, run it for a few minutes to make sure it goes thru the fuel system. I would just dis connect the battery and let it sit. The tire will be fine, with the tires today there is no worry about flat spots unless the car sit for years.
