Default vredesteins tires

Time for some new tires for my 03 Z06. I have read pages of reviews and am leaning towards the Vredesteins. But most of the reviews have been recent installs. How do you feel about them after they have had some miles on them. Everyone still pleased with the tires? Noise, traction in the dry are important in my case. Give me some feedback please.

Had mine on now for about a year. Maybe close to 1500 miles or so. I had PS2, Toyo proxies, and of course the Goodyear's. So far in my opinion, these tires have outperformed the Toyo's and the SC tires( )They are right up there with the super expensive PS2! Low noise (but then I must say I have longtubes and had cam installed) but they stick like glue in dry weather and handle very well in the rain too! For the price you can't go wrong. I am waiting for the thread life to get low (will be a while) so I can try Nitto's next

I have these on my C4 and they are really nice, better in all catagories than the Summi's I was using for years. Can't compare to a high end GY or Michelin, but these are great for the $.

I've had mine for over a year, probably put close to 10,000 miles on them and I think they are awesome tires for the price. Before these I had Toyo Proxy's and these beat them hands down!

I have only seen one bad review about these tires and that was a premature wear issue on the rear tires. I have one last question about mounting these tires . Are they directional or does it not matter which way the tread pattern faces. Am I making sense here does anybody know what I am asking? LOL. Can anybody help me clarify. Thanks!

I have a pair of rears for sale. Pretty much like new, less than a 1,000 miles. Let me know if you are interested. I have not listed them yet.

Had a set on my C5 coupe, liked them alot. Very cool tread pattern good handling and adequate traction. I put about 12k miles in two years and they were holding up very well.

Got mine on E-bay from AFS Wheels. It was a complete wheel and tire package. Mounted and balanced.

Just replaced a set of Vredesteins with Toyo's (T1R)...
Only reason I didn't get the Vredesteins again was the time
it takes to order, receive and get them mounted.
So far I think the Vredesteins were better. Won't know for
sure until warmer weather.

They had about 16,000 miles on them and were down to
3/32 rear, 6/32 front.

Where do you get them if you're not also buying wheels? I also need to know what sizes are available. I have 18" rims front and rear.

I'm going to get a few more quotes locally but I think the Vredesteins will be the tire I go with. Looks like will come in around 800.00 plus shipping and mount, balance.

Default Vreds

I have had these tires for about 2 years now, 25,000 miles. They are doing fine and I am sure will last 10 - 15,000 more if I take it easy. They are the best rain tire I have ever driven with! I know don't drive the vette in the rain? It is my daily driver and I live in Washington State.
