Well, I have never done a complete 360 not on purpose in mine. Does that fit?
George - I think, we need more of what type of driving your wanting it for.. if it's normal DD with a little track/autocross it would be completely different then strictly a drag strip or autocross run.
Personally, I like my car with the Z51 sus with Bilstein sports, etc... But that does not really make it a "great" handling car - it just works for me for how I use it - rain/shine, etc...

This will not be for my curreent car. Though i have done the following handling mods:
- C6Z shocks
- C5Z Anti swaybars
- R1 Concepts Rotors
- Hawk brake pads
This thread is just for fun and assumes no budget in $$ or time.
Regarding the purpose, I don't think there's any real disadvantage to having an uber-awesome handling car in any circumstance. We'll assumee it's designed to be a do-all machine.
My C5 handles better than my C6 that I have pulled .94g on with KDW rubber and C6 Z51 bars.
My C5 is on rails as I run C6Z bars, PFADT Coil Overs and there poly bushings. Why does this handle better? Coil Overs are set very firm, larger sways and better rubber. Now I glad I do not drive my C5 daily as I feel the road like a sports car is supposed to be.
Great to know that with a few mods like on the C6 that our Vettes do still handle great with a great ride for a daily driver, I have it both ways a car setup for the track and one you can drive anywhere does not get any better
